Resident Training Choir Accompanist
The American Boychoir School seeks a part-time (app.15 rehearsal hours per week + performances September 1 June 14) accompanist for its Resident Training Choir comprised of first-year boys. Candidates must demonstrate previous choral accompaniment experience; perform literature spanning all musical periods and styles with great proficiency; and possess superior skills in sight reading and reading open choral scores. The ability to teach Kodaly-based music theory is a plus.
Some travel and a valid U.S. passport are required.

Director of Development
This unique educational institution and arts organization is seeking a dynamic, motivated and experienced fundraiser who will plan and execute successful annual fund campaigns, further develop the organization’s endowment, and lead all efforts for special projects and capital campaigns. The Director of Development plays a critical role in meeting financial goals which further the mission of the American Boychoir School and the fulfillment of its long-range plan. The Director of Development provides leadership in the seeking of funding for all areas of institutional giving; developing and maintaining of relationships with all donor constituency groups; and ensuring of institutional and individual donor financial compliance and department financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will be a proven fundraiser who understands philanthropy in both educational and arts institutions, have demonstrated success in procuring funding from individuals, corporations, foundations and government, and will be adept and knowledgeable in the use of databases and other technological tools pertinent to fundraising.
Founded in 1937, The American Boychoir is the United States’ premier concert boys’ choir and one of the finest boychoirs in the world. For seventy years it has been dazzling audiences worldwide with its unique blend of musical sophistication, effervescent spirit and ensemble virtuosity. In addition to maintaining an active national and international touring schedule, The American Boychoir performs and records regularly with world-class artists and ensembles including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, opera superstar Jessye Norman, pop diva Beyoncé, Bobby McFerrin and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Comprised of boys in grades four through eight, and representing 24 states in the U.S., as well as Switzerland, France, Taiwan and Korea, The American Boychoir offers a unique and rigorous musical and academic curriculum, and fellowship for young people. Founded in Columbus, Ohio, in 1937, the Choir has been located in Princeton, New Jersey since 1950.
