Honor Code
 At the beginning of every school year, each boy signs an honor code stating that they understand the principles upon which this community is built. When a boy enters the ABS community, they agree to abide by these rules.
The Honor Code of The American Boychoir School
BE HONEST – Never deceive others or yourself. If you make a mistake, admit it.
PLAY FAIR – Be a good sport in class, rehearsals, in the dormitories, and in games. Prepare carefully for tests and resist temptations to get unfair help from others.
RESPECT OTHERS’ PROPERTY – Ask for permission before you borrow things. Never enter a room unless you are invited in. Never remove or take others’ possessions, even as a joke.
RESPECT YOUR BODY – Keep yourself and your clothes clean. Take pride in how you look. Never touch anyone in a way that makes him or her feel uncomfortable and never let anyone else touch you in that same way.
