Concerts
The American Boychoir tours the
US
every fall, winter, and spring. It performs for audiences in universities, churches, public and private schools, performing arts centers, and many community concert series. The Resident Training Choir makes its annual tour every spring, thrilling audiences in the Mid-Atlantic states and
New England
. Concerts by this choir prepare boys to enter the concert choir the following year. Both choirs often sing with boys and girls choirs around the country.
School programs
Invite The American Boychoir to perform with your school choir, or have it present a concert for your entire student body. This is a great way to get students interested in local choral programs, especially the boys! Our music directors always prepare interesting and diverse programs that are tailored for grades K-3, 4-8, or 9-12.
Workshops
Our music directors are available to present innovative learning sessions for professional and volunteer musicians. Whether a workshop on “The Changing Voice,” or an anthem reading session of new repertoire, these practical presentations are designed to stimulate and enrich your music making.
Holiday
programs
Delight audiences during this festive season with a concert by The American Boychoir! In December 2004, the Boychoir performed holiday favorites with The Philadelphia Orchestra. Past December venues include the
Kimball

in Colonial Williamsburg and Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in
New York City
. The Choirs also perform for a number of private holiday celebrations.
Corporate events

Worship services
The Boychoir is available to sing in worship, including voluntaries, anthems, and other service music. This is a great way to promote your Sunday afternoon concert! Our music director will work with your choirmaster to include appropriate repertoire.
Weddings
Boychoirs have sung at the weddings of royalty for centuries. Now, you too can continue this tradition at your own wedding. The American Boychoir will make your special day one to remember forever. Our music director, with input of the bridal couple, will select music fit for a royal occasion. (Generally, our musicians accompany the Boychoir at weddings.)
Orchestral engagements
The American Boychoir has a long tradition of performing with national, international, and regional symphony orchestras. (http://www.americanboychoir.org/music_performance.html) Its repertoire includes larger choral works such as Britten’s “War Requiem;” Handel’s “Four Coronation Anthems” and “Messiah;” Brahms’ “Ein Deutsche Requiem;” and Vaughan Williams’ “Fantasia on Christmas Carols.” Also, the Boychoir is prepared to sing Mahler Symphonies No. 3 and 8. A complete listing of choral/orchestral works is available upon request.
Professional sporting events
If The American Boychoir is performing in a city with a professional sports team, the Boychoir will sing the National Anthem in return for watching the game. It’s a great way for the presenter to entertain the Choir and create camaraderie with the host girls or boys choir. The presenter is responsible for complete planning of this.
